About us
The Aurora trade started its story many years ago, and this one was presented in 2020.Our story
With long-term experience in market needs monitoring and developing new tourism strategies we came up with story of Aurora. Returning to childhood inspired us to bring wide offer and to make it accessible to everyone. Active or passive vacation, walks, swimming, fishing… One common denominator to all is returning to nature as much as possible. The name itself has Latin origin that means “redness of the sky at dawn” and it completely coincidentally but ideally describes the atmosphere. It also describes the very story that the Aurora offers you and narrates you. So much is summoned up in the single name and just as much is included in our offer.
Mission and vision
We were motivated to find the solution for busy life, lack of free time and need for rest both for mind and body so we decided to reconnect with nature. Guided by the assumpions and strategies to develop tourist offer of Karlovac County we decided to create a special offer. We created simple but also attractive offer for active holiday for everyone, single or with family and friends.
At the same time we wanted to contribute development of the Duga Resa area. This area is rich with natural resources, untouched nature is also something worth seeing in the little village of Galović selo. This village is special for very small number of houses and inhabitants and it is perfect for this kind of tourism. For years, nature itself skillfully hid the untouched cultural heritage of this region which you can reach by walking or bicycle riding. We believe that our offer can satisfy needs of every visitor type and they can experience vacation on totally different way.

“We are part of the earth and it is part of us. The perfumed flowers are our sisters.
The bear, the deer, the great eagle, these are our brothers.
The rocky crests, the dew in the meadow, the body heat of the pony, and man all belong to the same family.”
